The 10th NTD Annual Conference

The Neglected Tropical Diseases Conference brings together health professionals including researchers, policy makers, implementers and other stakeholders working on all aspects of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) to review progress and chart the way forward in the research and control of NTDs in the African region. This year’s conference is jointly organized by the MoH-Neglected Tropical Diseases Unit and KEMRI.

The Aim of the Conference is ‘To foster networking among African NTDs Researchers, Policy makers and implementers and to disseminate Research Findings.’ 

Conference Theme: Bridging the gaps towards NTDs elimination: Progress through partnership

The Conference’s Sub-themes will include: 

  1. Reports from NTD  control program managers
  2. Research for elimination
  3. Epidemiology and public health
  4. Control programs implementation and evaluation
  5. Health behavioral and social science
